Brilliant stuff William.Especially like that back jaw bucket.Wonder why they never took off here?
The 3C's certainly have sound of their own too. That pump groan and squeal of the torque box is very distinctive.Wish I had kept my 3C111 with the 3x3 box.Only for the high engine oil consumption,it was a tight one.Likely still lying near B'Hinch where it went 16 yrs ago.

Robin, theres very few 6 in 1 clamshovels over here on 3C/3D's as well. I've only came a cross two of them over here. As for the rear jaw bucket I suppose its a case of usefullness versus cost.

Re: JCB 3C and 6C on Youtube
There is some great video footage out there Lindsay.
The clip of the JCB in the garden takes me back when the firm I worked for had old machines in the yard, overgrown and looked one step for the breakers yard. With those old JCB's, stick some water and fuel in them, fit a battery and they are away.Don't think modern machines would take that .I can remember doing one JCB3,the legs were stuck in the raised position and the handbrake was stuck solid.Thats all you need is a big hammer, gas axe and some penatrating oil /diesel and your away.
I am looking into getting a 3C to take to local shows and roadruns.

Hi Martyn, sounds like a good plan with the 3C, would be a good project.
Yes the old machines arent anything like these new ones, toom any electronics in the new diggers haha.

Thanks for the links.
The 3c Mk11 I have is the only one I have seen close up in my life. Even at the vintage trucks cars and ag shows I have not seen one (only been to a few). Mostly just trucks and a few old tractors and rollers, plus stationary engines, lister and the like.
