try ken barbers in forest of dean or a firm called just enterprises if their still going, if im right you have to put an extra pump on the machine to power it i might be wrong though havent driven one of those old girls for a long time good in their day

Yeas indeed its a double pump that you will have to fit for the extradig to work - not 100% sure if your existing valve block will support the extra function but have a suspicion it will be ok as there are usually 2 auxilary functions

As Chris has said they were normally set up with a double pump (pump guard extended) and a 2 pedal system by the operators right foot.
You could operate the extender whilst operating the other services. I would have thought it would be difficult to source the parts today.

sounds more trouble than its worth to be honest :dizzy: . but it was just a thought. i was told that jcb brought out a conversion kit as it were but im not sure . but they are a very usefull addition to an allready brilliant machine. but thankyou to you all. im just about to start my restoration of my old girl who as served me well over the past 30 years ive had her, starting with the backacter going to replace the bush tubes and bush'es in the dipper arm and new bronze bush'es in the boom checkout the kingpost etc if anyone as any tips on this it would be appreciated.
