Wee bit of background- Our 3CX wasn't slewing left, it was possible to push the boom round by hand and I could see the pin rotating so I suspect the teeth in the carrier are damaged. The carrier is still on the digger at the moment, kingpost is secured, whilst lowering the bottom cover the larger slew gear dropped down easily off of the king pin. The teeth on the slew gear and the rack look perfect, as does the lower end of the king pin.
The pin itself lowered maybe 10mm then stopped, despite various attempts to help it along the pin refuses to drop down, looking for suggestions?
