hI all,
Have an mf50 which had a broken lower pin on the kingpost. managed to buy a good one one eBay. The kingpost came with the slew motor etc all fixed to the slide. Anyway, decided to fit it this weekend. Having removed the old complete slide assembly, found that the replacement slew motor has an additional hydraulic connection on the outer diameter of the motor, as well as the two on top of the motor. mY original motor only has the 2 top connections. I fitted the replacement kingpost only on the original carriage.
My question is - what is the third hydraulic fitting for and is there any way I can fit it to my machine. my slew motor has a slight leak on top.
If it is possible to fit, can the slew motor be changed in situ. i guess just undo all the fixings on the motor and the lower bearing and pull away from the carriage until the motor can be lifted off.
Thanks in advance.
