Kevin Gibbons was fond of TS24's.Gravells perhaps?
Where are you in Sandbach Chris?.I have some D8's and scrapers there at the moment.

Where's your gear?

They could've been Gravelle's 24's, they'd gone by the time I got there,(holiday/sick cover).
We had EMD's junk at Petersfield the year before, but it was really on its last legs.6 machines 3 drivers and usually 4 b/d!!

I worked for Fred Parnell driving a Volvo a35 on hire to john jones when this happened the scrapers belonged to gravellel plant from South Wales when they reanacted it they used a scraper from kelston sparks after this little incident every machine was properly isolated from battery after each shift

We're gravellels scrapers we had them on dearby southern bypass following season when I got on for john jones

Chris..Arclid south side.It's about 135 vertical deep in some places.keep thinking the M6 will wash in there some days.
