Re-built front end of a Kress carrier, a slag pot hauler as used in the steel works. This particular one is based on a 627, with the cab sitting central over the engine, see the attached link for full details!

Kress use a lot of Cat equipment but make it nigh on unrecognisable.

Saw some of these come out of Ravenscraig steelmill in the 90's.The breaker boys would buy them for 621/627 and 623 spares.very rough working conditions.
