I like your 12 inch to the foot model Karl
It even beats the 631 you roaded to Pencoed a few years back.
Photo shows Karl jumping off without a parachute.
I see what you mean with its turn of speed.
Cheers
Martyn

Thats the way to do it!! It looks in pretty good nick and very original except for the makeshift ROPS, did the scraper come with the deal and is the plan to restore it to like new for the pleasure of all the UK enthusiasts and of course yourself?

Hello Gavin
Karl has got hold of a very good machine there, its is in great condition.I have asked a friend to make up front guards for him.
Had a ride on it last week, the engine runs well, the tyres are good.
As with machines of this size there are limitations.
If you see the size of scraper boxes these machines haul it would be very hard to take it anywhere so it would be confined to his base.In its present tractor form, it can be taken to local shows.
Lowloader transport is very expensive plus all the traffic regs on wide loads don't help.
It will look great with a tidy up.Its great to see someone that collects the larger items of plant for us to enjoy.
We are lucky in this area that we can see all types of interesting machines that would have unded up being cut up if they were not saved.

Your not wrong Martyn, with the gear i have seen on the tube from Russel Saywell and some of the former ACMOC days plus what i have seen in the link magazine you poms are served very well from the halcyon era of Cat gear. Heck even some of the Becher and Billings kit is great stuff and a lot of the old B & W pics through this forum show the UK in it,s day had all the big gear.

I posted the clip of your newest acquisition on this forum, which has to be the biggest tribute site to the mighty scraper, especially the 6 wheelers. You might want to join up and post the information and updates/details there, we'd all appreciate it! Lots, and I mean lots, of pics and videos of the 660/666's can be found there.
