Me, I wouldn't know. I haven't had a lot to do with the 'MEAN GREEN' stuff. I took those photos, along with a few more, on a weekend visit to Greeniron's 'estancia' for a 'green fix'. I'll post a few more photos from time to time - don't want you people becoming addicted.

That TS24 is a parts machine, at least at the moment. If you look closely, you may notice that the draught frame is twisted - makes it load unevenly.

The delicate little creature in the last photo is DEFINITELY NOT a parts machine. It is not very far off being a runner again. If you get down and your bended knees and ask VERY nicely, I may even post some more photos of that one and its slightly less complete mate. Anybody have TWO x RUNNING 6-71 GM's that they would care to donate to a very worthy cause?

I now have parts and maintenance manuals for the 'double troubles' (read TC12's). Haven't had much chance to browse through them yet but they are sitting in my bookcase. If you need either of them, just let out a squeak and I'll get them to you.

I finally got hold of Bob this week and had a great chat about the above machine, and he was very helpful
I look forward to meeting him in the future, as he sure does like twin powered machines
This model seems to be around mid 50's??very early 60's as it is fitted with a 6-110,
I could be wrong about the dates

Yer welkum to ther photos, M8. Just put my copy of your model on Startrack Express to my home address. You can send it collect. LOL.

If you go there to meet Bob, you may very well finish up with a LOT of material for future models too. He has a bit of green iron laying around the place. He also has a pretty good knowledge of it all as well. Keep your eyes and ears open.

I don't know much about twin engine machines so apologies for the basic question...

How is the rear engine controlled? Is it some how kept on sync with the front and on all the time or is it controlled in the cab separately as and when it is needed?

Dah,it's controlled from the cab by the driver.you are correct in thinking it's used when only it's needed
