A few years ago when iwas a finning service engineer , we were always refitting the edges to the 637,s at didcot power station , their other trick was to run the edges down and wear away the mounting plate.

remeber the time years ago several machines discreetly 'parked' (hidden) round Cumbria!

davy did u supply them ts 24's to roy m'cullough.hes just finished a road job with them scrapers,how many do u have and still run

Yes we supplied 5 and the d9 to roy! We`ve currently got 5 TS24`s (b10`s) and 7 TS14B`S that we could put to work. We`ve also got a cat 623b elevating scraper.

Nice pics Davy, sadly scrapers not used so much nowadays. As an ex-scraper operator I understand the cost implications of scraper v dump truck, but still think scrapers can do more so are more cost effective.
