Driver of 24 in first clip not very experienced, no way do you do a U turn with both throttles open. Liable to take the tyre off the rim or lift front wheel off ground.

I am glad my Old Muckshifting Forman/Slasher was not on that Site, as we could only push Muck the way it was going, so no fancy turns required??? its hard enough to get off fast and smooth without getting lost????

here's one of BB's 24's at Lockerbie about 1993.They wer good ones.I think they still run them
And whilst on the subject of coal scrapers Paul,here's a 637D I spotted in South Wales in 2008 while picking up some lumps of D8K.It was a very tidy piece of kit

I am from the other side of the "Pond" namely California, we use to have many large fleets of TS24's, then the Cat 657 took over & they vanished. I do have a question? why do the British TS24's only run 8V71's & no turbos, as opposed to US versions with 12V71/6V71 turbo combantion.
