Nice pics Craig. Thats a rather large cut for the little scoop behind the D6!
The D9 looks in good shape for a G series if it was the 80's as well. Post away if you have more pics please!

The topsoil and overburden was about 2 feet deep the rest is scoria volcanic rock. The D9's the company owned were kept in good order for there own jobs and hire work.

Looks like a ts 24 box with a home made swan neck on one of the photos it looks like the rear end has had the engine removed and left open.Seems a good way to get a hydraulic box
