Great unit, looks very professional... loved the snap of the outfit negotiating a turn with a clear view of all the trailer wheels turning (as in changing direction) Thank you!

Stuart, the pic going around the bend was a good shot, it shows how sweet the interdolly works, I see the Scania has the hub reduction axles and only a small power engine, a Co' I do a good bit of work for run about 25 Scania's with only single reduction axles and the big HP motors 580 upto 730hp at gvw of below 90 ton they can haul it like there empty, but I dont know how things would work out over 100 ton???

Yeah she has big hub reduced axles with a 16l v8 chipped to 600 and is plated for 150t and has no real issue pulling at that weight but does slow down a lot on the hills.

Stuart, is the gearbox a manual shift (GRS900) or the "soft option" like Donnell & Ellis run (opti-cruse) I am not a big fan of the electronic shift on heavy outfits, I like to keep em in the "Poke Belt" on a good bank.

She has the GRS900 12 speed box and would agree with you on the auto / electronic boxes except the allison automatics with built in torque convertors which volvo are putting into new trucks that are plated to 250t but can only handle 600hp.

Hopefully get the truck painted soon, shes still in WJ Laws colours who were a heavy haulage company here in N.Ireland who went bust nearly 2 years ago now.

The new banger I spoke about, is going from the paint shop after some more fancy stuff has been poked on it, to the Scania Agents (Avonmouth) on Friday, I think its first job is the " High Profile " task that I will be involved in, this Co' also have a depot in Tullamore, I will take a few shots of the "Cart" to post in a new thread or somewhere as you have a great picture post building up here of "Campbell Power", with diesel at £1.40 and your outfit sucking it up like an alcoholic, its great to see big chunks on the move.
