Graham, were you transporting a large dozer on the M4 last week ? I followed an interesting load on Friday night whilst in work.A lowloader with Irish plates with a good selection of unrestored David Brown tractors on it.Then on the East bound carriageway,a Cat 775 at Junction 28.

hello tim.
The 54RB was on its way from Cahir near Tipperary Eire to southampton docks when the tractor unit pulling it had some technical problems and was unable to proceed past Abingdon on the A34.I was called to assist as i was in the area and i took it the rest of the way to dock gate 4 for onward shipment to china i believe.
regards graham.

hello martyn.
I was on the m4 on friday but around 2pm with a cat777d which i had loaded at southampton on thursday,we have got four 775s but two are in our yard and two are in east pit,My belief is the truck you are refering to was on route from cannock to ffos-y-fran carried by a well known haulier from the north west area. For all next week there is a total embargo on all police assisted escorts in south wales and gwent owing to the ryder cup at newport as we wanted to go to cannock tommorow to collect a new777f to go to east pit but it has been put off for a week.
regards graham. :o

Bloody hell , just photographed that old RB at Southampton Docks yesterday thinking it would be good 'scoop' on here and its already on ! :) . An old friend Controlled Demolitions CAT 245 long reach was also there , leaving the country i think.

hello xs650.
is the 54 on the trailer or has it been unloaded, the reason i ask is that i was going to unload it but was called away to load a cat777d for one of our sites in south wales.i did notice the 245 long reach when i was there on thursday.
regards graham.
