Hi to all,
Just a few pics from my days on the spanners, the owner of the company I used to work for regularly bought smashed trucks to either re-build or break for spare parts.
Here is a Seddon Atkinson 401 that was originally operated by Goodyear tyres that has seen better days
I was told the driver got out alive but find this hard to believe, I did manage to open the drivers door with the aid of a crowbar
The vehicle was powered by a Cummins NT240 turbo engine, had a Fuller nine gearbox and a Seddon RA57 rear axle.
