normaly the fith wheel as a built in turn table to control the steering plus when theres a unit pushing that as control of the rear steering then theres a over ride system so it can be used manualy with a remote control some trailers have donkey engine to power the steering rams and a second man with a seat on the back end steering the rear end with a radio talking to the drive

the lead unit steers all axles from the front when in standard road use, on site or in difficult turns a trailer man will take control of the steereing and manually steer all axles until away from the situation,
if you need to know about these trailers please look on the manufacturers website to get info about them, dont just make assumptions about how they work
