The two lowloaders make a good comparison of form and function. Nudge something with the Bedford you can bend it straight, do the same with the Iveco and it's £10k worth of non-recyclable scrap plastic.

In the first picture, is that the noise it made when the trailer came off? Baboin!!!
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Yes that's why its called IVECO (It Vibrates, Everything Comes Off) :lol:

Told to me a few years ago by a guy who worked for one of the DoT agencies.

Some more great period (s) photos there Steve. Is the last Derbyshire 8 legger a Leyland?
I wonder if the Cabcraft cabs are for Combines?

I thought combine as well - early Massey?

The cabs on the IH 3434A loaders were made by Cabcraft who were based in Penkridge, Staffs. Glass and cab door rollers were the parts we used to sell a lot of when I worked for Saville Tractors.
