Nice pics Steve :claphands: the first one is one of the FAI built Hymac machines built while Hymac was under the Brown ownership, like the truck mounted Poclain as well. :thumbup:

Hi Jeremy,
I think the truck mounted excavator you like and the wheel-mount in the next pic. are not Poclain, but "Richier" later to become Ford. :thumbup:

Hi Fred I beg to differ here, if you click on the photo it does clearly say Poclain on the machines, the truck mount is the TP300 and the other machine the face shovel is the TYA model. :thumbup:

That second-last picture reminds me of a Renault van I had. Always drove like multiple components weren't attached to the body.
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Noticed a few Drotts there.
When and why did Drott's (meaning any track shovels) fall out of favour ?
I started in Construction in 77 and you saw very few on building sites but no site in the 1960s seemed to be without one.
