Good stuff Paul :thumbup: the article on the heavy loads trailer is interesting but you'd not fit something like that down some of the narrower roads we have over here; looks like a Diamond 'T' tractor unit.

There ex army tank transporters very slow and heavy and were used as Australia's first commercial road trains pulling up to 8 trailers

We had a few Diamond 'T' trucks over here that were used for heavy haulage and then usually used as vehicle recovery wreckers.

Thanks for the images.
If I remember correctly, the Case 488 was built by the Italian manufacturer Macmoter who also supplied O&K with mini and midi models.

Posted by a guy on another forum I look at and I have asked his permission. It has been barn stored since coming off the road 30+ years ago. It had a replacement cab at some point which may explain the grill. It has not been restored but just fettled here and there. It is under going some engine rebuilding at the moment. Thought I would pop it on here as it is such a beaut.
