Another Scammell Heavy.... In its day anyway...
Another one from my own stable. Bought her to cart my Steam Roller around on ....If it ever gets finished.
It was a long drive home which left me a mental wreck!!

Thanks for that, kind of like it myself.
Soon to get a makeover in the paint dept.... Will be in the same livery as my Aveling steam roller.
Just fitted brand new windscreens to it which you can still get made by Pilkingtons, anyone want the details PM me. Not cheap but not as expensive as I thought they would be

Staggered that you can get the screens made. Not simple otherwise with curves.

I see a couple of the old 3025 Mercs in amongst the line up Steve-looked good with the twin stacks I bet.Our lot had some as well-they pulled well but didn't stop as good narrow linings apparently

I never rated the 3025, never had enough umph to me. I did like the Iveco 300 hp 8 wheeler with the V8 deutz later uprated to the 340. That was a good tipper but give me a MAN 331, now that was the bollocks!

Might of been Ex Pulleyns Tim - They had some with twin stacks when they were at the bottom of Rose Kiln Lane in Reading.

They were before my tipper driving days Clive, but the MAN 331 seems to be held in high regard by tipper men of the 1980's/90's.A mate of mine had a 300.30 Iveco and had very good service from it.
