Scammell Crusader

This Scammell Crusader had at least two owners in it's working life.

In the colours of Bent Marshall of Stebbing Essex,well known earthmoving and heavy haulage contractors.

Working for Honer Ltd a West Sussex based earthmoving contractor who ran D8's and scrapers.

Don't suppose you know if she was Rolls powered or if she had the Detroit two stroke diesel motor :?:

Nice motor Fellows transport owned one before I worked for them when the Rolls engine blew up they doctored a 220 Cummins into it :)

Found another one Martyn,this time a Scammell Contractor rated at 180 tons gross with a Cummins 335bhp engine coupled to an RV30 semi-automatic box.This one had quite a few owners starting with Thomas W Ward then R K Crisp on to Bent-Marshall, John Golding and Mike Lawrence. :thumbs_up: Tim
