not to sure, around mid 90's I think but I will try to contact Bent-Marshell's son, I work on the same MOD site as him, he works for one sub-contractor and I work for another contractor. but I would like to see more pictures of b-m's trucks if any one out there has any, also I think the low loader pulled by the scammel crusader was a "King" around a 50ft'er with stering axels, but did it have 2 or 3 axels ?, the axels were operated by the drivers mate at the rear,(drivers mete!! there's a blast from the past!!) but was that manual or powed by a donky engine mounted at the rear of the low loader? I canot remeber, no change there then!

Hi Tim,
Here's a photo of Brian Freer and his Scammell from Market Harborough, he used to move our kit when I was on with Tarmac Roadstone back in the 80's.
Also a link to a bit of gear jammin and a lovely noisehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIdyTuY87qU

I have these two pics of some Scammell tippers. Pictures taken in 1980-81 at Sand & Balis site Reading, Berks. Pictures from the late Roger Champion.
