ALE moving a large transformer from Dover docks to a substation at Sellinge near Ashford "scraped " the underside of an overbridge causing a bit of chaos.

I'm told that the transformer is one of three at the site which although made in this country had to be sent to Germany for reconditioning as we no longer have the facilities to handle the job here.
The first one was handled by Allelys and the transporter suffered a puncture so may be the job is jinxed!
