Overloaded Hmm?

Post #1 by Jeremy Rowland » Sat Aug 27, 2016 9:15 pm

I just happened to peer out of the roller shutter door at my work last week and saw this in the yard outside one of the other units :wtf:
So this guy has loaded a four wheel towable trailer with a Bridgeport CNC milling machine that weighs around the I ton mark, its not so much the weight but the height of the weight that would concern me; I bet cornering was fun, not!

Just strap the barrels down and flli them with helium - it'll be fine!
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

it will be fine just got to drive it to suit the load shifted some mighty unstable loads over the years , steady steady and think a fair way ahead and the load always gets thru
Oh yeah and drive with radio up nice and loud so you cant hear all the tooting of horns

Seriously though, my concern would be knowing how fragile the tyres are on this type of trailer the loss of one tyre could easily be enough to cause a hairy destablisation.
