Now the bigger surprise for me came as I read what the poster had said and that was the driver survived this 50ft plunge :shock: :dizzy:

I enquired more as I recognised the truck concerned and was staggered to find pictures of a truck that I had broken for spare parts some 26 years ago!

The reply came with pictures of the newspaper cutting you can just about make out what it says; no wonder the lads who had rebuilt the truck at HFT before I started there thought that the driver had died in the truck. :think:

Must say it brought a tear to my eye when I saw it but I was glad there was a better outcome than I had originally been lead to believe. ;)
Sorry I don't know who to credit for these photo's but thanks anyway for sharing them. :thumbup:
