Bray PS 10000

Bray PS 10000 with Scania 112 M and and one oak log weighing approx 18 tons destination Barchards of Hull.

very nice photos there nick. Is that a hymac in the background.What all was used to lift such a load.

Hi Brian, we winched it on by parking the trailer alongside had the log sat so the weight would fall onto the trailer and with a steel cable anchored off two points on the trailer and winched it with a snatch block from the other side. Had to push it about a bit to get it sat just right on the trailer job went a "good un" was supposed to be filmed but we done it early one Sunday morning so as to miss the filming usually goes wrong when there,s a camera about. Sorry no idea what the machine is to long ago now.
