Hi Winston (brock) welcome to CMN

There is a lad with one of those who has been on some of the plant and machinery web sites/forums with the username of Grader 99H (or similar) who has one of those machines that has been seen at a few shows. (photo below of it working)

More photos of it on this site  http://www.classictracksandtrucks.co.uk/.
You could try contacting him via that web sites contact link to see if he knows of spares for them.

Alternatively the owner of a lot of the machinery on that web site is Dave Weedon (his contact details are on the van shown below) - He repairs plant and collects it so may know a breaker with one.

Thanks Brock - that is fantastic. We tried a Vickers dealer previously but they could not reference the Genuine part numbers. This will enable me to go back to them with the correct info.

Best regards
Sue

Hello Sue,

Did you get a New Pump ?
To adjust the Belt Tension on the Hyd Pump,
The Pulley is a split type, there are Shims between the two Flanges, there were originally ( 8 ) eight shims fitted,
remove one, or two to increase the belt Tension on the drive Belt !
Fit the spare Shims to the outside of the Pulley, under the bolt heads,

Winston.

PS. Can you tell me more about the Grader, serial no, Engine type,
Do you have a Manual/Parts Book ?

Hi Winston

This Avelin Austin Grader belongs to a customer of ours.

My boss suggested to him to try removing and cleaning the screen - this has made a massive difference, maybe the new pump won't be required after all!!!!

Thanks for everyone's kind replies, all advice very welcome.

Sue
