5-8 tone 360 digger

Post #1 by david000 » Thu Jan 07, 2010 6:22 pm

im will be looking febuary march time for a between 5 and 8 tone 360 digger for my local rail way as the whole line needs work doing to it, some ripping up and re leveling and some major ground work.
currently we have a 15 ish tone road rail digger and its just to big and cumbersome for the work we need to do as some of the line is single track and no clearence to swing let alone use it for diging

Im not a spanner man or operator but have noticed JCB's mini/midis seem to get an absolute pasting re. quality on this site, and others.
Sure CMN'ers don't do it , but I also think anyone buying a machine/vehicle sight unseen off ebay is mad .
