Worlds First Overhead Crane

That is right! This here is the first ever overhead crane ever built.
Can you guess where it is located in the world?

Well until I saw the caption on the photo I had no idea where the location was but I had sort of guessed that those large steel tubes in the photo looked a hell of a lot like large battleship guns so that may have narrowed my location guess; a nice picture too thanks for sharing. :thumbup:
Just out of interest you can see where the operator is stood I have used an old overhead crane with a similar hanging basket type operators cab, I would think except the very largest of cranes they are mostly pendant controlled now?
