As promised some more pics of RB's at Threlkeld, I have some pics of Priestmans, Smiths, Jones etc. Will put them all together on a section of Cranes.

Jeremy, you won't be disappointed, turn off the M6 at Penrith onto the A66 towards Keswick, after you go through Scales look for the signs which take you to the Vintage Excavator Museum at Threlkeld and its about a mile off the A66. Nearest biggish town is Keswick for B&B, hotels etc. Also check with the museum web site about when they will be having operating days.

Hi guy's, I used to see this old 54 RB when my dad, who was a crane driver in the Ravenscraig Steelworks (1978), took me with him to collect his wages. Little did I know at that young age I would one day be driving 19's, 22's, 605's and 1405's.

Just noticed another crane in the background of one of the pictures. Can anyone identify the model? :)

Hi ihave just aquired another RB22, this one has a 6ydan engine in it, my other rb22 has a 4/71 gm unfortunatly the ruston engine has had rainwater down the exhaust, Iam pulling the heads off at the moment. has anybody got the head / big end tensions for this engine also the valve clearances, This 22 has also a torque convertor fitted my other machine has just a clutch. this22 was assembled new in Melbourne Australia on its plate.
