Well I did say that I don't have any more pictures of any RB cranes - but apparently I do - although not on a crawler mounting!!
I've been asking around for a while what model of crane this actually is, the common answer seems to be either 54RB or 61RB.
Either way, I'll let you all decide.
As you can see, the RB grab crane is mounted on a dredger, the Hedwin, built in June 1969 she is the river Tyne's resident dredger being of the old style which relies solely on the crane during operation, not bad looking for its age though! I have contacted her owners a couple of times and a few other people who might have known more about the crane - with partial success.
Judging from the size of the machines pictured already on this thread; is this crane really big enough to be a 54RB or 61RB? Looks closer to 30RB in size?
I have a few more pictures I can upload if it helps ID the crane.
