Trader chasis ,but what cranes???

Post #1 by FOWLER MAN » Sun Nov 20, 2011 5:23 pm

I think the BR crane in the first pic is a Taylor Jumbo Hydracrane :?: :?: :?:
But what crane is on the half cab Trader :?: :?: :?:
My first thought was Priestman Cub, but the cab is on the wrong side. :? :?

It looks like a Bantam....maybe a T-350.
That's the first time I've seen a Thames half-cab.

Hi All,
I found some more info on this crane, Librarian was right, it is in fact a Bantam T350.
It was produced for, and sold into the NewZealand market.
Bantam apparently made the T350 from 1960 to 1965 when it was replaced by a telescopic model.
Ford replaced the Trader with the D Series in 1963. So (if I'm right), it narrows the year of the crane to between 1960 and 1963. :?: :?:
