A Bronzeshield Liebherr crane at work in the City on Saturday afternoon. We coudn't see what it was lifting because of the hoarding, but judging by the nearby Select plant hire vans and artics it was probably starting to erect a tower crane.I am told that the building in the background is the Swissre tower also known as the "Gherkin".

Thanks Jack-Yes I did see a Keltbray Demolition sign at the front of the site so that would explain it,sadly didn't have time to get any more pics as we were on our way to catch a train at Liverpool Street station when we came across the crane.
