Sometimes mate, if I have the extra ballast I've got the wagon driver to help out. About half the times i'm out i'll be by myself and I've got a bluetooth controller I can place the matts down with, not unlike the set ups you see on HIAB's, this allows me to operate the crane while keeping hold of the matts....its a pretty smart system and the crane looks funny with no driver in the back cab operating it.

Here some pictures of the CC2800-1, spent weeks with this machine last year at the Olympic park at took loads of pictures :D

Some pics of the machine arriving,

Is up and down on the left joystick telescope and on the right hoist? or opposite?

Tele on the left, hoist on the right. You can see on the LED's under the joysticks what does what.

Do you like using the remote, i had saddle jib tower crane with a 50 mtr jib which had remote operation even though you still sat up in the cab (long story) but you never had a feel for the crane it's hard to describe but i just did not like it.

I don't mind it for putting the matts down but as you say to actually work with it is a bit unnerving as you are 'detached' from the feel of the machine. I have done a few lifts now where its been handy but its not something I'd make a habit of, when using it everything is a lot slower.

:backto:

How about some of the ever popular LTM1500 8.1

Great Shots Gaz, i dont think people understand the pure sixe of this crane and its ability to lift. i cant wait to see the LTM1750.

i heard that Ainscough are still taking delivery of the AC1000 later in the year. not a Texex fan but it will still look well in their colours.
