Now thats what I call a flexi-boom! :lol: Looks like a fishing rod!

I see an earlier tower crane sporting the MACE logo? I'm guessing......are they building a new corner shop sporting the same name! :dizzy:

An update from the Shard. This building really is some height and still has 80m to go. They have recently installed the latest tower crane to finish the tower. Amazing it is cantilevered from level 56. below are some pics of it being erected.

The veiw from operating a tower crane is one of the best perks of the job :thumbup:
the higher you go the better it gets.
As for the tower crane erectors they have my respect for what they do.

Wonderful images, just hope the guy has got his calculations right! Would be interested in more detail about the cantilever set up.
