Hi wee heavy, yes the first three photos were taken in East Grinstead in the Lewes Road the job was McCarthy Stone it was their crane too, from there it went straight up to Sheffield for sand blasting and painting in McCarthy Stone colours, i have since seen this crane in Crawley in it's new colours and it looks pretty smart. In one of the photo s you will see a Jaso belonging to Falcon Crane hire too. Do you know this Liebherr crane then.

@Iclun-: Richier-Weitz

The front one is a Richier GT1362, the one left behind the 1362 is a Richier GT1174 B, the third high crane with the cabin just above the slewing ring could be a Richier-Weitz GT1290, just as the one with the short counter-jib.
The other ones are also of the 11-series.

Greetings,
Weitz

Weitz & Iclun i have just been lucky enough to get a Babcock-weitz tower crane brochure publication no 1725 which must date from the late 1950's and also a Babcock-Richier brochure from the 1970's

Hello Topkit,

Thanks a lot for your reaction!
Is it perhaps possible to make copies of these brochures and send them by mail?

I can send my e-mail address by a personal mail.

Would be great!

Greetings,
Weitz
