Couldnt resist a couple of shots of this BR diesel crane being used for track maintenance at the MRC.

This type of crane is very similar to the ones we worked on.Some were fitted with Maclaren engines.Quite a few diesel cranes were converted from steam cranes at Swindon works.You could always tell the fitters that worked on the steam cranes,they had black spots on their faces when they returned to the workshop we were based at.
