I should do. My late father designed and built the first one then turned the business into a world beating product exported all over the world.
First one man operated, hydraulic, carried its own strut job sections certainly in Europe and the first to use and build fibreglass cabs. Lots of other firsts too.
Am interested in anything Hydrocon. The machines, I have 3, literature, photos, or memories.
I was used in the firms advertising from age four.

When I worked for Beck and Pollitzer in the 60s they still had Hydrocons with three jib sections stacked each side of the hoist mechanism. They also ran Redler and Muir Hill cranes with a similar configuration.
Then came the first Coles telescopics.

Modelman, B&P were regular customers. I think you are probably referring to 4/5/6 ton Highlanders but they likely had a few larger models too. I know some of the salesman and will ask them.

Very tidy Hydrocon ( Highlander ? ) still at work 2019 in Alderbergh boatyard.
