Lorain MC4 20 tonner 6 x 6 chassis uprated from a 15 tonner by Walter Wolfenden of Liverpool by adding extra ballast and more falls in hoist rope.

Nice pictures, I have seen the 12 before, but the C4050 I haven't seen yet.
The pictures of the 12 en de 40, are they taken on the same place?

Adrie I think the older crane with the drag shovel is a 21 not a 12.

Your right Stephen, I always mix up the 10,12 and the 21.
I need always a closer look.

Hello,
Just a couple of fotos of a Smith 40-50.
I hired this one from W.T.Davies for a culvert job I did on The Dock Feeder in the centre of Cardiff circa 1985.We over-pumped the water whilst we lifted in the concrete units.
The Smith handled these 12 tonne units with ease at long reach. I cant remember how long the stick was now.
The excavator is a 108S, one of seven Preistmans I ran at that time. More on these elsewhere in due course.
