Terex/Demag AC30

Post #1 by Nick Drew » Sat Sep 13, 2008 7:49 pm

Hi All,

Took some shots of this Terex/Demag AC30 30 ton mobile crane which has been working on my current site for the past week or so.

The machine is owned by South West crane hire company Macsalvors and its operator is going to be joining us here at CMN, so hopefully he will give us a bit of information on this crane

Hi IBH,

Yes I'm still hanging on in there !!

We have about 18 months work there ...fingers crossed !! Just as well since a lot of firms down this neck of the woods are laying off big time

When it all picks up again they will probably regret laying off good people but sadly that is the nature of this game and the type of people who are employers seem to be pretty ruthless

Nick ;)

Macsalvors cranes on St Austell job

Post #5 by Nick Drew » Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:56 pm

Here are some shots of Macsalvors new Liebherr 1040 mobile crane which is currently working on my site.

The Operator Rob told me that this machine is only 6 months old, I have to say that I am no expert on cranes but this machine certainly looks like a very well made piece of kit !!

Nick ;)
