Is the 33 being restored or has it come to the end of the road
I looked after a 33 in the late 60s, The 5VPHN was one of Ruston's best, a brilliant engine which was fitted to a few other RB models too.
We didn't have to swing the compressor too often because we could put about 350 lbs. pressure in the reservoir and if there were no air leaks that would start her every morning for best part of a week.
Once started we usually let them run for the whole shift , (that wouldn't happen today).
I can see the Lister D peeping out of its house in the pic.
And Pete it was up market in its day Georgian Windows or no.
