Hello, I am just about to buy an AEC O854 Coles EMA crane and I really would like to find some sort of manual that will help me with setting up the crane after I have overhauled the motors and control gear. I will have no problem doing the overhaul work as my day job is on Diesel Electric Locomotives and overhauling electrical motors and control gear is my bread and butter. I am however very aware that this is lifting gear and although i don't intend to do any commercial work, the crane still needs to be safe. I would be happier working to some sort of instruction when setting up winch brakes and such. Any manuals for any Coles Diesel/Petrol Electric crane would help no end.
