Im not entirely sure. This crane was up on the 54 Lombard Street project in 1990. What I do remember is at the time it was the highest freestanding tower crane to have been erected in this country. I guess it also still is. The two green Potain luffers were originally erected on the Battersea power station site but were never put into operation due to the project being shelved.

A couple more taken yesterday of these Favelle Favco cranes on the pinnacle project. There are now 4 in place. 2 will be external climbers and 2 internal climbers as this tower rises. Massive Tower Cranes.

That is the Heron Tower which is around 45 floors in height. That crane is a Comedil CTL400 and the one to the left in the picture below is slightly bigger still and is a CTL630.

Believe it or not the Favco's are building a 65 storey tower so you can imagine the height they will end up at.
