I've got a TH62 on loan to see if I like it, I think its very strong

I'll go with the general view, you have to have a very good reason NOT to have a JCB they are very well developed and there is one for every task . We are on our 6th JCB 526 and they just get better, good for 10000 hours and more, service them regularly you will have no problems. Like many CAT products the telehandlers are badged and not up to the reliability of "proper" Caterpillars.

PS Merlo has been mentioned, looks good but it has a hydrostatic transmission, make sure you try one for a few days to make sure it suits your work, it is different to a torque convertor.
