i may well be wrong but i think that this is not a manitou as it has an articulated chassis but it could be from another french company

I never seen that before I consider as 2in1 a multipurpose truck thumbs to the inventor of that truck.

Found an article in Tractor & Machinery Mag Vol.13 No.4 march 07
Summary;
- built in 1991 at Dundaulk (stopped in 1997) when bussines sold
- Called the Moffett MFT (Multi-Function Tractor)
- Was a loader mounted on the back of atractor so load on the rear axle like a RTF.
- reversible driving possition
- Loader demountable in about 3 mins (claimed)
- MkI was built on a MF 390T skid unit 94 hp
- MkII was built on a Ford sries 40 unit (7840SL)
- lift of about 12' (3.5m)
About 500 Built
Any body got a photo, looks like a short straight armed front loader ?
Dave
This is my Moffett MFT, 1996. Last photo shows converted headstock to take JCB loadall buckets etc so it can actually do some work. It came (5 years ago) with one COMPLETELY worn out bucket on the front after 12 years on a livestock farm.
