Were you thinking of this A5000 as used by the MOD http://www.muir-hill.com/a5000%20ant%20mod%202.jpg

Found an article in Tractor & Machinery Mag Vol.13 No.4 march 07

Summary;
- built in 1991 at Dundaulk (stopped in 1997) when bussines sold
- Called the Moffett MFT (Multi-Function Tractor)
- Was a loader mounted on the back of atractor so load on the rear axle like a RTF.
- reversible driving possition
- Loader demountable in about 3 mins (claimed)
- MkI was built on a MF 390T skid unit 94 hp
- MkII was built on a Ford sries 40 unit (7840SL)
- lift of about 12' (3.5m)

About 500 Built :o

Any body got a photo, looks like a short straight armed front loader ?

Dave

Hello Gents, I came across the post and felt I had something to offer here on the MHM. I am the son of Noel Kelly, the designer of the machine, and have been working on these machines from I was 14 years old. Obviously less of them around now, but I have one of the early lister engined ones from 1976. They were produced from 1976 to approx 1985 or 6, the later ones had the white cab and the rubber mounted ford 2700e engine, newage axles and the early ones left the factory with an open cab and the aircooled lister HR3 engine and hamworthy axles. The blue axles in the colour photo of the demonstrator are factory replacements, this being the oem paint.
the reachmaster is a rare machine, based on and produced after the MHM and after Noel's direct involvement with the factory had ended, and I'm fairly sure they never got much past the production prototypes due to the way the boom dived when the forks were pushed forward.
There are some great posts and pictures here, I will try and add a few myself and will also see if I can find some other paperwork if it is still required

Regards, Stephen Kelly
