Jcb 505-22 4 wheel steering won't sync

Post #1 by ThatCoalGuy » Fri Feb 14, 2014 7:08 pm

I can't get the 4 wheel steering to sync up. This problem started when it got real cold here, about 15 below zero, never had a problem with it before. One day it was in the 30's and it would would sync up, now it's colder and I've got the same problem again. I'm not sure if it's because of the cold weather or if it's just a coincidence. I slid a putty knife under the front sensor and it lights up but the rear sensor won't. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions where to start troubleshooting? Thanks.

Could be a wire broken on the plug end of the proximitty switch it should be over the top of the rear axle where it joins the main harness

Phil....thanks, that's a good suggestion, I should have thought of that but didn't. I will check that tomorrow and post what I find.
