case cx 90

hi, i am thinking of buying a case cx 90 4x4 tractor. does anyone know a furom for these or if anyone has any knowlege of said tractor.

Probably a good idea to ask on something like the British Farming Forum.
I think it was a re cabbed version of an IH tractor that goes back to the early 70s. Obviously some mods and IIRR a Perkins replacing the old IH engine. My guess would be that model is a bit light in the transmission and brakes department.

pete i cant get on the farming furom because i am on aol???. on a previos thread on here you sound as though you know a bit about them. do you know where you put oil for the steering and what sort.

cheers pete. no i have'nt bought that one. the one i am looking at is the same at that one. its got a loader and attachments aswell 6000 hrs and on a horse yard so not knackered by cow s-hit.

Maybe not that bad. The old IH was not as bad as some would have you believe anyway. We have CaseIH 895 which has been OK.

anyone know where you put oil in the back end, the steering seems to be short of oil but the loader works ok
