A rear weight would help, but can also encourage overloading and extra stress on the loader and front axle. The recognised home made counterweight was a barrel full of concrete or similar, but just stick a couple of bales on the rear spike to start with and see what effect it has. You could always water ballast the back wheels. My 35 didn't have a loader and I only ever used it for ploughing but always ran the 12.4/11-28 rears at 75% saline. Stuck like the proverbial to a blanket.
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

I drove a 35X for 15 years and that tractor did not have a diff lock nor multi power nor 2 stage clutch. Some body has said it was probably an export model that was cancelled so it was a very basic model. That been said it was a fantastic tractor and did all the jobs expected of it, as far as I know it is still running today.
