Whilst out and about on my bike observing the A14 construction areas I met a tractor road run near Boxworth. So I snapped a few pics for your delight.
Plus a few bits of kit seen on the A14 construction sites

Always wanted a MF 1200 or 1250 but bought a Chamberlain instead, Im not sure whether that was a good or a bad thing
Looks a good day for a road run

If I were to buy a classic tractor that would be my choice as well. Apparently the 1250 were very small numbers. I drove a 1200 quite a bit in the late 70s/early 80s when it had already had a hard life. It could really grip.

the 1200's and 1250's out here came standard with 24 x 26 tyres and in Australia we all filled them with water back then I would imagine they would have pulled like a train until they stalled
I nearly bought a 1250 once but settled on a Chamberlain instead which still worked well dragging the land plane around
