Tractor Ford 5000 brake system
I have Ford 5000 hydromatic tractor, which I suddenly lost brake on it . Any suggestion of haw to remedy the problem. Many thanks

Have you sorted? What is a Hydromatic? No expert but that series usually have mechanically actuated oil immersed discs. First point of call would, IMHO, be to check thro' the linkage on that side.

Pete I would be guessing hydromatic is the Ford Selectospeed
If you have lost brakes is it only one side as Pete Suggests ?? some more information may help

Brakes on Ford 5000s are mechanical rod operating expanding discs which are immersed in either side of the rear axle oil.
have you checked the adjustment - there are two jam nuts down on the clevises under the footplates, you'll need 2 x 11/16" open enders and the correct free-play used to be about 3" of travel
